Mission

The Credo Baptist exists to positively advance and defend the biblical case for believer’s baptism while critically engaging and rejecting the practice of infant baptism.

What this site is

The Credo Baptist is a journal of credobaptist apologetics: arguments against infant baptism from Scripture and the old writings, with careful replies to Rome, the Reformed paedobaptists, and every communion that baptizes the children of believers.

The thesis

The Lord appointed baptism for disciples — for those who themselves believe the gospel, repent, and confess Christ. No command, example, or necessary inference in Scripture gives the sign to infants, and the practice of the earliest churches knows nothing of it.
